The tour will be making stops in Atlanta, GA on 1/23, Paramus, NJ on 1/30 and Los Angeles, CA on 2/13. At each stop, fans will get to meet select cast members from the show and attend a Q&A session. All you have to do is buy the exclusive The Vampire Diaries Tour T-shirt from a participating Hot Topic location which will get you a wristband that grants you access to the event! New episodes of The Vampire Diaries return to the CW on Thursday, January 21st!

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) naturally is up to no good, but it sure looks like he’s having fun. As for Elena and Stefan (Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley), there’s going to be some tough times ahead when she demands to hear the truth.

The Vampire Diaries writer/producer Julie Plec tweeted, “I took the which TVD character are u quiz. Totally Bonnie.” She later posted a link to this quiz, which may or may not be the one she took.

Liz Tegelaar (a writer/producer for the the new CW show Life Unexpected) later tweeted to Julie that she was also a “Bonnie”.

Fact about Julie Plec: She was an assistant to Wes Craven on Scream. And we all know that Kevin Williamson (also a writer for TVD) wrote the screenplay for Scream. And Dawson’s Creek. Mesh them, and that is basically what TVD is. It’s all FULL CIRCLE!

The New York Post has posted an article entitled 5 reasons ‘Vampire Diaries’ is better than ‘Twilight’. The reasons?

1.) Believe it or not, “The Vampire Diaries” came first.
2.) The Vampire Diaries is bloody, gory and full of killing.
3.) These sexy vampires actually have sex!
4.) Elena is an independent young woman.
5.) Had it with the Twi-hype? “The Vampire Diaries” is the underdog.
